Today, we recognize the greatest mom and grandma I know who’s currently fighting brain cancer. My mom is someone I’m very close to and have always admired. She’s always been selfless and more concerned about everyone else’s wellbeing than her own.

Her fight, courage, and positive attitude during this battle, while not surprising, has been remarkable. I’m convinced she does this not for herself, but for her friends, family and the people she loves. She doesn’t want us to worry about her or be an inconvenience. She wants to continue being there as a mom, sister & friend. She wants to continue being involved in her grandkid’s lives, it’s what brings the biggest smile to her face. It’s who she is and always well be; selfless and taking care of the people she loves most.

It’s an honor to recognize you. It’s a reminder it’s our turn to be there for you, support you and tell you we love you!
