Amanda’s story as a caregiver for survivor Susan is a testament to how deeply she is moved by love. Susan’s diagnosis was formally given in the fall of 2019, just months before the Covid-19 pandemic and very shortly after Amanda learned she was expecting her first born. Through months of the world being rocked and Amanda navigating the complex challenges of new motherhood, she never backed down from supporting Susan and their family. She worked her full time job each day helping children to cope with the heaviness of daily life and still had the passion to assist her mom with managing daily changes and needs. Amanda realized the precious time ahead of her mom and moved forward with hope that her daughter would love and play with their Gramma one day. Over 5 years later, Amanda continues to care for her mom and cherish her close relationship with her. She also celebrates Susan’s many sweet moments with her two grandchildren, a dream come true for all. Amanda is a force of love.
