Legacy of Love

Carl

Collman

Carl’s faith and prayers moved my mountain. My husband went over and beyond my expectations as a care giver. He never lost faith that I was going to be a long term survivor and would tell me every day. We lived 3 hours from phx, so treatment was hard in many ways. We couldn’t be home, had to rent hotels and abnb’s close to the hospital, rehab, oncologists and radiation. I lost my job and he just sold his business days before I was diagnosed. It was January 2023, phx open and superbowl was going on then. He took care of everything and was still there for me everyday. When we finally got home after 3 months I could barely walk, talk or use my dominant hand. He bribed me with a 14 day cruise to Alaska. I worked so hard everyday to improve because I WAS going to Ak. He was incredibly patient, helpful and encouraging everyday even when I was having frequent meltdowns. He has driven me thousands of miles going to therapy in phx and Show Low, never 1 complaint! Cancer free 18 months.
