Legacy of Love

Clay Heidle

10 years ago, we had no idea what life would be like. We had been married for a little over a year when we found out I had a Brain Tumor. Since that day, he has been in this with me. I know that it is not only me that thinks about this every day, but so does Clay. Sometimes I think no one understands what is like to have a Brain Tumor, but I know that I am wrong. You do, Clay. In January when I was doing my radiation treatment, I wanted to quit. I cried every day. It was so much anxiety. I told him that I could not live with this feeling. He sat down with me and listened. He told me that if I did not finish, I would be upset when something comes back. I knew you were right. So, just in case I don’t say it enough, Thank you! Thank you for everything you do, for understanding, for giving me your love, and for being the best Caregiver to me.
