Dave cared deeply for his late wife Kim Jesionek for 2 years as she battled brain cancer. He was by her side for 2 major craniotomies and subsequent recovery. He spent countless nights at the hospital by her side. He accompanied her to multiple, sometimes daily doctor appointments, radiology, and chemo. He prepared countless meals, took on all household chores and was there for her during hospice care. During the two years she battled brain cancer they enjoyed many concerts and outings together. Their greatest joy was spending time and hosting holidays with their 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
