God has carried me through every season of illness and healing, beginning in 2012, just eleven months after Jay and I were married, when we faced my first craniotomy and diagnosis together. That same faithfulness carried us through my second craniotomy in January 2025, followed by six weeks of daily radiation and this ongoing year of chemotherapy. For 14 years, Jay has walked beside me through hospital rooms, recoveries, and seasons of uncertainty, never stepping back from the weight placed on us so early in our marriage. This past year especially, he has cared for me in countless ways-advocating for me, holding our family together, and offering comfort on days when treatment left me exhausted and afraid. God also blessed us with two children – something we were told was very unlikely and Jay has embraced fatherhood with strength and gratitude. I am profoundly grateful to God for a husband who leads with faith, loves sacrificially, and never once allowed me to face this battle alone.
