I am honored to nominate my mother, Jill Fletcher, for the Legacy of Love Award. She was my dad Chad’s high school sweetheart, his true love, his best friend, and the steady anchor of our family throughout his courageous battle with Glioblastoma.

She stood by his side through two craniotomies, over 50 radiation treatments, and rounds of chemotherapy. She slept in hospital rooms, rose in the earliest hours of the morning, and stayed late into the night. She carried him through countless appointments, scans, and MRIs, always watching over him with the kind of care that comes only from pure, selfless love. She managed medication routines, drove to every treatment, and still kept our family together, her spirit shining even in the darkest hours.

Just as my dad always believed in giving 110% to everything in life, my mom did the same throughout this journey. She poured out her heart and energy every single day, serving without hesitation and loving without limits. Her strength was not for herself but for him, for us, and for the life they built together.

Even as they faced the hardest fight, they found ways to make unforgettable memories together with their children and family, traveling across the world, laughing, and soaking up every precious moment with their beautiful grandchildren. Their faith never wavered, and their love never dimmed. It is the kind of love that should be written about and remembered for eternity.

My dad always called her his sunshine girl, his Jill, his everything. God truly hand-picked these two for one another, and their love story is one of grace, faith, and devotion. My mom’s strength and sacrifice are beyond admirable they are holy, servant-hearted acts of love that reflect the very best of what God intended marriage and family to be.

I can say without hesitation that she is the strongest woman I know, and her love is a legacy that will live on forever.
