My brain tumor diagnosis was the third tumor diagnosis I had received, and it came just six months after Josh lost his mother to a heart attack. Despite his own grief and fear, he put my needs first and made sure our four young children were cared for every step of the way.
Josh was by my side before and after surgery, helped me through recovery, kept our household running, and worked tirelessly to make life as normal as possible for our kids. Every six months, as we wait for my MRI results, I know he carries the same anxiety I do, yet he remains my constant source of strength and reassurance.
I want to recognize Josh for the countless acts of love and sacrifice that often go unnoticed. His selflessness, unwavering support, and devotion to our family have carried us through our hardest moments, and I can never thank him enough.
