Kim has been the sole caregiver to her husband, Steve, who was diagnosed with a glioblastoma in September 2021. He fought with every ounce of his being to live as long as he could. During his year and a half battler, Kim did everything for Steve and their 6 children. She never once complained, she never once thought of leaving. She woke everyday with the intent to care for her husband on his worse days and on his best days. She made sure every detail was planned out and made bucket list wishes happen for Steve. She has worked full time and raised 2 wonderful teen girls, while being sure her 4 bonus children were apart of all the tough decisions regarding their dad’s care. We as a family could never thank her enough for the love and support she gave our father and our family. She is everything I wish my daughter, her granddaughter will grow up to be.
