My mom, Lynn Williams, was absolutely pivotal in my journey. With a background in critical care nursing, she never left my side during the 22 days I was in the neuro ICU at Orlando Health. Her expertise and ability to stay calm in the crisis was a lifesaver. She was my advocate when needed, cheerleader at all times and brought so much peace during a time of fear and uncertainty. After being discharged from the hospital, my mom moved in with us up in Gainesville for the next 3.5 months, attending every doctor appt and therapy session and being the best help in the day to day tasks that I could no longer do.
Mom was my true angel and I cannot imagine such a wonderful recovery if she had not been by my side. She has always been my hero and best friend but after these last 6 months, she has been our everything! I honor her every day!
