Marissa is a rock and a true inspiration to MANY people. She navigated SO much from the day of Andy’s diagnosis, through all the good days and hard days and did so with immense courage and poise. She not only cared for Andy, but took care of their 2 boys, supporting them in school, sports and other activities so that they could feel as “normal” as possible during a devastatingly not normal time. In addition, she kept friends and family up to date, helped support visits and other communications on behalf of Andy. Through everything and true today, while she’s experienced so much pain and loss, she can still smile and remember so many good times, which is such a testament to her spirit and drive. Marissa and Andy were so lucky to have found each other in this life, and we are SO LUCKY to know her. She’s an absolutely incredible, strong, caring and beautiful human being, inside and out!
