My husband, Nick Braun, has always been the kindest and strongest person I know, but when I was diagnosed in 2022, and our world turned upside down in a split second, Nick never panicked. He just took charge. He was the primary caregiver for our young son as well as my caregiver. He cooked and cleaned and vacuumed up all the dog hair. He did endless loads of laundry. He kept a med-schedule for me, even setting an alarm to wake me up in the middle of the night to make sure I took them. He took on all my jobs while also working his own full-time job. Nick is an incredible caretaker and husband!
