From the time I started developing symptoms, to the misdiagnosis, and all the way through treatment, my mom has been my advocate and even more so, my rock. The amount of love she has to give is endless. I don’t know many people who would take a full 7 weeks off to move to a new state to get a loved one through radiation treatments, but it didn’t even occur to her to not be there to support me through my treatments and appointments. My treatment days are some of the most cherished days I have with my mom. She’s one of the good ones. And I wish everyone had a Peggy Perry in their life.
