Sara was an amazing Patient Care Coordinator. She was dedicated to patient care, a fierce advocate, and an incredibly motivated and loyal member of the team. She went above and beyond to make sure that our patients at the Ivy Center received timely care and never let anyone fall through the cracks. She worked diligently to schedule imaging studies, get our patients ready for surgery, and was always a friendly and familiar voice on the phone when our patients called in with any questions or concerns. Sara took the time with our patients to make them feel cared for and heard, and helped to streamline the already difficult process of navigating complex care our cancer patients were receiving. She passed away unexpectedly this past May, but has left an incredible legacy of patient care and excellence.
