Tammy Leger deserves the Caregivers Award for the love, strength, and sacrifice she has shown while caring for my dad, Joe, as he battles brain cancer. As his primary caregiver, she makes sure he never misses an appointment, takes his medications, and tirelessly researches every option so he receives the best care. She plans ahead for every step, often anticipating his needs before he does. Beyond the medical side, she ensures he truly experiences life, creating special memories with his family and grandson. The reason my dad has beaten the odds is in large part because of her dedication, giving him what he needs both medically and emotionally. She has sacrificed so much to fight for him, stand by him, and love him through every challenge. Her devotion has given our family hope, strength, and treasured memories, and she is deeply deserving of this recognition.
