Allen was deeply loved and is missed every day. He faced his diagnosis with the attitude that he would continue to be positive, patient productive and persistent. He was a runner most of his life and he really enjoyed it. When he wasn’t able to run, he rode a bike until he couldn’t. He was a devoted husband, father and friend who was kind and supportive of those around him. We honor is life by remembering his love, his humor-which is most often seen in McKenna-and the way he showed up for those he cared about. Not only do we walk in his memory, but we are honoring a lifelong passion-running, something he truly enjoyed.
