After a few agonizing migraines and a failed optometrist appointment, Amy scheduled an appointment with an oncologist. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme on June 14, 2018 just 3 short days after her 53rd birthday. Amy passed away on December 26th of that same year, just 6 short months later. She never let her disease discourage her from doing what she loved. My mom was one of a kind. She was generous, honest, and hardworking. She enjoyed good food, drinking Bud Light, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. One of her many special achievements was her ability to gather people no matter where she was or what she was doing. She had a gift for making friends with everyone she met, and her smile and laughter were contagious. She was always the life of the party. She loved having fun. She loved life. Until we meet again, mama. Social!
