Austin was 15 years old when he was initially diagnosed with a Adamantinomatous Craniopharyngioma and began his courageous, 7- year battle. Despite multiple surgeries, Gamma knife radiation, Phase I clinical trial, and modulated radiation, Austin endured numerous reoccurrences. The benign tumors had an extremely rare malignant transformation in December 2025 and on January 23, 2026, Austin passed away surrounded by family and extended family at the age of 22. In Austin’s short life, he was a gifted athlete, loved fishing and nature, and was a very loving and thoughtful human being. Most of all, he was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. His legacy will continue to live on through our memories and through spreading awareness for rare, brain tumors and brain cancer to hopefully one day find a cure through funding and much needed research. May the perpetual light shine upon Austin and may he find peace in his Eternal life. We will forever love you, Austin!
