Billie Hollingsworth

Billie was born December 14, 1947, in Italy, Texas, the daughter of Dutch and Claudine (Windham) Barlow. She grew up in Corsicana, TX and graduated from Corsicana High School. Billie married Ray Hollingsworth on December 23, 1965 in Corsicana. They moved frequently until settling in Sioux City in 1976. She worked in several different businesses over the years with her last venture as one of the owners of Uptown Wedding and Event Rental. She always loved a good party! Billie spent many years volunteering in the community. She was an incredibly loving, giving and devoted wife, mother and Nana. She loved to spend her time with family, particularly making up new games for the grandchildren , swimming and boating. She also loved her girlfriends with their Wednesday night outings eating and having fun and of course shopping with her good friends. She made new friends wherever she went. Her grandkids were her passion – Ava Lou, Raylie Jae and Jack Robert! She will be missed but is at peace.
