Bryan Staggs

Bryan Kelly Staggs died peacefully on August 28, 2017 after a 31 month battle with GBM brain cancer, at the age of 51, surrounded by his wife, children and brother at his home in Ruther Glen, Virginia. Bryan was born on July 27, 1966 in San Manuel, Arizona to Vernon Staggs and Gradyne Turney. Bryan is survived by his wife, Rosemarie, his five children Kris, Ryan, Rachel, Justin and Austin and his six grandchildren Natalyn, Addison, Colton, Raelea, Remington and Ryker. Bryan was bigger than life, a force to be reckoned with, one of a kind. He was brilliant and excelled in everything he did. He was a loyal friend and a fierce enemy. During his short life he accomplished many things including riding bulls in the rodeo and serving his country. He joined the Army in 1988 and was in the Old Guard until he reclassified to Military Intelligence. He loved working on cars and fishing. He was a computer genius and fulfilled a dream when he started his own company. But what mattered most to Bryan was his family. He loved his wife and children fiercely and was so proud of being a husband, a father and grandfather. His personality was magnetic and he was loved by many but no one loved him more than his wife and children. The hole he leaves behind is immense but his legacy will live forever in his children and the impact he made on all who knew him. Bryan’s ashes will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery at a date yet to be determined. A celebration of life will follow.
