My mom Cherie was an incredible woman. She stood only 5 feet 1 inch tall but she was a powerhouse. She raised my brother Brent and I by herself while working full time. She also went back to school and got her Bachelors degree. She was nicknamed “piranha” by her coworkers because she was nice but aggressive. She won numerous awards for saving the company money. She was a master negotiatar. She had very little herself but always was doing for others. When she died, all her neighbors showed up to help us go through and move her stuff. She was a great daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother. We miss her and pray that someday a cure is found so no one else has to lose someone to glioblastoma ever again.
