Cheryl Musick

In loving memory of Cheryl Suzanne Morford Musick, who had so much more living to do. Cheryl S. (Morford) Musick, 66, of Bucyrus, KS, joined the choir of angels in heaven on June 9, 2015, after a 16-month battle with Glioblastoma brain cancer. Cheryl’s 39 years as an elementary school teacher touched many lives & she truly enjoyed the time she spent with all of her students. After retiring in 2008, she devoted some of her time to volunteering with SAFEHOME while also doing what she loved most – spending time with friends and family. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Kansas State University and later completed her Master’s degree at UMKC while working full time and raising two daughters. Cheryl was born December 23, 1948, in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Glenn & Margaret Morford (both deceased). She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 44 years, Terry Musick; daughter Paige Musick (Mark Nowakowski); daughter Megan Musick (fiancé Mark Upshaw); sister & brother-in-law, Carol & Jerry Exline; brother & sister-in-law, Dan & Hitomi Morford; and many more family members & friends of equal importance but too many to list here!
