Chris loved life, she embraced it with all of her power. One of our most favorable vacations was traveling Route 66. Her car was a Mustang GT Convertible she ordered herself and drove it off the lot with 3 miles on it, her first new car. We traveled the old Mother road with the top down and music loud and pretended to be young teenagers again. She always said that was her second best vacation, First was Hawaii, we went twice once on our honey moon and one other time. By the way we were married on Christmas Day 1980. Chris worked at Riverbend Church in Austin, Texas as the executive assistant to the senior pastor for 14 years.
