Cynthia (known by most as Cindy) was a strong woman of Catholic faith and proud Italian heritage. There wasn’t a day that went by without a home cooked meal prepared with love for her family. She adored her grandchildren and created countless memories with them during vacations in Italy, cross country road trips, or simply preparing traditional Italian meals with her granddaughters.
Cindy learned of her glioblastoma diagnosis while vacationing in Florida, and fought a courageous battle for nine months, through two craniotomies and two rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, before passing away peacefully with her loving family by her side. She leaves a legacy of strength and grace as an example for all who knew her.
