Our father fought a courageous battle against GBM that lasted 16 months. He was an uncomplicated and simple person who was grateful for the little things in life. He never tried to impress anyone. He was humble , had a heart of gold and did small acts of kindness for others with great love . He was a loving father and was always there for us . When he was in the hospital recovering from several surgeries , he would often reach out to his roommate to get to know them . When we brought our dad a pizza or dessert , he would ask us to share the food with them and it turned into a pizza Party! He would often pray for everyone in the hospital while he was suffering . Our dad had a fierce sense of humor, he was a great joke and story teller , with a contagious laugh . He was an outstanding golfer and enjoyed spending time with his buddies on the course . He was a painter for 40 years and could paint a straight line without using the blue tape. He fought this battle against GBM with incredible courage , strength , faith and HUMOR. We love and miss you , Dad! You are forever in our hearts .
