Full of life, a fighter, funny, boisterous, generous, loyal and never met a stranger….our Darrell didn’t just enter people’s lives, he left a mark. Darrell’s life was not defined by the illness that took it, but the 66 years that came before it-the people he loved, the work he was proud of, the friendships he fiercely protected, the adventures he pursued, the laughter he created and the countless ways he showed up for others. His love and zest for life will continue to ripple outward through the lives of those he touched. Darrell may no longer be the loudest voice in the room, but for those who loved him, his voice will resound long after he’s gone here on this side of heaven. His stories will be retold, his laughter will be remembered and his generosity will be carried forward. And the people who knew him will smile and probably tell a Darrell story of their own. Until we meet again, rest well, good and faithful husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend and servant. 🩶
