Dave was diagnosed with GBM in December 2024 after experiencing confusion and aphasia. He was young, healthy, and active so brain cancer was the furthest thing from our mind. He underwent a craniotomy, radiation, chemotherapy, two clinical trials and Optune. He bravely fought every day with quiet courage, confidence, humor and determination. He still had so much he wanted to do in life. He wanted to get back to work, do more traveling and grow old together. He wanted to watch more Steelers games and win more fantasy football. He wanted to take our dogs for more walks and eat more burgers and wings. However the tumor continued to rapidly grow at an alarming rate and there was nothing more his doctors could do. The world lost a bright light on June 4, 2026 and I lost my best friend and husband.
