David Kelley

Dave was born on Thanksgiving day minutes after his identical twin brother. He was raised in Montour Falls, NY with his four siblings.and parents. He lived in NY until he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served in Vietnam twice.
He began playing the organ and piano professionally at only 14 years old. Throughout the years he played for churches, clubs, private parties, Govenor Balls, galas, countless weddings and specialized in Big Band and Jazz. He was a concert artist for a large international music company and traveled throughout the USA entertaining. His favorite accomplishments were playing the organ in the Astrodome for the Houston Astros and playing for Bob Hope’s birthday on a large yacht. He played the keyboards until GBM caused mental confusion. He was a Sales and Marketing director for several businesses and a business owner.
Dave was undoubtedly a successful musician and Sales and Marketing director but his greatest accomplishments in life were being a faithful and loving husband for 39 years, a proud father of four beautiful girls, and a grandfather of seven.
He never met a stranger and always took the time to smile and speak to everyone. Dave radiated happiness and his tenacity and adventurous spirit touched people of all ages and walks of life. He helped so many people with his music, laughter, goofy jokes, and his love of life and his faith in God.
Glioblastoma caused a fatal aneurysm. He will surely live in our hearts forever.
