David “Moto” Jaeger

David was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer that had metastasized to the brain in Decemeber of 2015, he kept positive despite the cards he was being dealt. He passed away at his home in April of 2017 after a long hard fight. He was a lifelong farmer; the most proud, selfless, and loving man I ever knew. He was one-of-a-kind and his family meant the world to him. He gave us so many memories to hold onto for the rest of our lives. Some of his favorite hobbies included tractor pulls, gambling, playing pepper, golfing, road trips, cheering on the Hawkeyes/Broncos, listening to the Country Countdown (especially Jason Aldean & Eric Church), and tipping back cold ones at the Roost with his buddies. Dad loved to give people a hard time while making them laugh, he always had a smile on his face and thoroughly lived life to the fullest. We sure do miss having him here with us every day, but we’ll continue to cherish the many memories he left us with moving forward.
