Emily was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October 2015 and fought the good fight until the day she met Jesus, her Savior on June 24, 2018. Emily stayed strong positive and kept God at the forefront of every step. Emily worked as a labor and delivery nurse prior to her diagnosis and even went back to work for a few months while in remission. She was passionate about her work, and enjoyed being with new moms and welcoming new lives into the world. Emily might say that her proudest accomplishment was becoming a mother. She and husband, Justin, welcomed a baby girl, Tess in September 2017. Emily was genuinely kind and caring and loving and is so greatly missed. She left behind a husband, daughter, mom, dad, brother, sister, and many other family members and countless friends, but we know we will see her again. ~Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know. John 14:1-4
