Everett Evans was a truck driver by trade and loved every second of it. A few weeks after retiring he was diagnosed with glioblastoma stage 4. Knowing it was a death sentence, he vowed to hold on as long as he could to see the birth of his new granddaughter. The picture shared is shortly before his passing, holding Baby Rosalyn and seated next to the light of his life his only other grandchild, Allie. He had three sons, was married to the love of his Life, Janice, whom he called is “desert flower” for 41 years. He loved skiing, camping, and watching his sons play baseball. He was a wonderful Grandfather and retired to spend his time on adventures with Allie and Rosalyn, unknowing that he would not survive the year. He passed at home peacefully with Janice watching over him. He leaves behind an entire family that still celebrate the life he created for all of them.
