Frank “Chip” Hider

HIDER, JR., Frank Frank Charles “Chip” Hider, Jr. of Murphy, TX died January 30, 2018 in Dallas, TX. He was born October 21, 1943 to Frank Charles Hider and Elsie Marie Wallen in New York City, NY. He married Susie Feige on November 6, 1999 in Dallas, TX. Chip was a Civil and Criminal Tax Attorney for nearly 40 years. He was a member of the Texas Bar Association, the Dallas Bar Association, the World Cultural Alliance and a staunch supporter of Empathy gatherings internationally. Chip was a member of the U.S. Army from 1969-1971 as a First Lieutenant. He is survived by his wife, Susie Feige Hider of Murphy, TX; son, Scott David Hider and his wife, Wendy Hider, granddaughters Madison and Kami of Carrollton, TX; Daughter, Nichole W Fiorentino her husband, Mike and grandchildren, Nicholas, Luke, Jake and Lola of Dallas, TX; son, Matthew Feige and his wife, Bella of Los Angeles, CA; son, Andrew Feige and his partner Alisa of Richardson TX; brother, Jeff Hider and his wife, Barbara of Baltimore, MD; many nieces and nephews and extended family throughout the country. A funeral service will be held on February 5, 2018 at 2:30 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Headforthecure.org.  Chip was passionate about people making a difference in the world.  He believed through Empathy people would have a better understanding of each other—love would eventually Win.  His passions were protecting his clients, travel, books, movies, music and enjoying time with family and friends.  He will be missed.
