My Uncle George was the man of the hour no matter where he was or who he was with. He was a drummer and proud graduate of Holy Cross High School, Class of ’73, the year I was born… as he would always remind me. A true Bobcat from Southwest Texas State University (not Texas State) who pronounced IPA as EEEPAA!! LOL! When he wasn’t enjoying a cold brew, he was planning his next travel adventure, or our next bike ride through the streets of downtown… before it was a thing. He not only was my uncle but a great friend who introduced me to his many friends who are now my lifelong friends. There was never a dull moment with George AKA Sir Banger (Ren name), and if he graced you with his presence your life was richer for it. He may have lost his battle with cancer, but his spirit lives on in all of us who remember him. We all love and miss you so very much, George. Forever will you continue to be a positive inspiration in my life. Drum on, my Uncle. Drum on, my Friend.
