Gina Lee McElroy

Gina Lee McElroy died on December 19, 2013 almost a year after her diagnosis. She was 30 years old. Her life had just begun, she was a loving mother of 3 beautiful children and shared her life with her loving husband. Gina could make anyone smile, not only because she was beautiful but she was funny, always making people laugh.
Gina’s mom passed away some years before she did in a car accident and Gina took care of her younger brother and sister just like she promised her mom she would. She was an amazing big sister.
She was loved by so many, she shared her fight through her social media and so many got to see her good days as well as her bad. One thing remained the same, her smile. This disease never took that beautiful smile with those deep beautiful dimples. My cousin was a fighter, she fought hard until the very end, because like she told me many times, Quitting is not an option.
