Jason Mines

Jason was diagnosed with a diffuse inoperable astrocytoma brain tumor July 13, 2009. At that time Jason had an 8 week old baby and almost 3 year old. Our entire family’s lives were flipped upside down. From there Jason did every treatment possible. He had multiple different opinions. He did take chemo and full brain radiation. The only surgery he had was the biopsy to determine what he was dealing with. We knew it was not a good prognosis because it was not operarable but we ALWAYS hoped for the best. At almost 3 years of fighting, the cancer took the best of him. Jason passed on May 22, 2012. Jason was such a good son, brother, husband, father and friend. Jason never knew a stranger and was loved by all. He is missed terribly. I would love to raise money for brain cancer awareness
