Jim was a beloved husband (40 years), father of 4, and grandfather of 7. He was an emergency management superintendent with Minnesota Air National Guard/ Active Duty Air Force, retiring at Tyndall Air Force Base, Panama City, FL in 2018. He loved spending time with his family and also doing projects around the house and yard. He had his first seizure in Feb. 2023 and after a brain biopsy in May at University of Alabama/Birmingham he was diagnosed with glioblastoma brain cancer. The tumor was inoperable but Jim was treated with chemo, radiation and then infusions of Avastin. God called him to his forever home in heaven May 30, 2024. Jim always said to put God first, family second and career third.
