John was a lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan. If he wasn’t dressed up for work, he was wearing his Chiefs apparel!
John loved to take long bike rides all over town.
John loved spending time with his kids. He was always involved with coaching their sports and helping at their school activities.
Most of all, John was a fighter. He never gave up and fought until the very end. He always had a smile on his face and you would never hear him complain.
During his last round of chemo, one of his doctors told him that he only had a 2% chance of the medication working. John said that it didn’t matter because he needed to try for his children.
Words that John’s family and friends would use to describe him are, positive, kind, gentle, loving, jokester, intelligent, witty.
We miss John and love him so deeply. We remember and honor John’s legacy every day.
