Jonathan Smith

Jonathan Scott Smith, age 34, of Platte City, MO, peacefully passed away at his home on January 4, 2015. Jon was a graduate of Kansas University and an avid Jayhawk until the end. He lived a good life filled with love, devotion, commitment and honesty. He served as an inspirational role model for all. Jon leaves behind his wife Katina and son Andreas. He is also survived by his mother, Melanie and (Marshall) Thompson; father, Terry and (Deborah) Smith; brother Jason and (Jenny) Smith; sister, Stephanie Thompson; brother Grant Pattison; sister Natalie and (Chris) Guinn; maternal grandparents, Gaylord and Elouise Mayer; paternal grandmother, Katherine Smith; father and mother-in-law, Steve and (Greta) Kellepouris; brother-in-law Nikos and (Denise) Kellepouris. Other survivors include a nephew, numerous nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Resurrection-Wesley Covenant Chapel, 13720 Roe Ave., Leawood, KS 66224, on Friday, January 9,2015 at 11a.m.with a reception to follow.
