Jordan, known to many by the nickname Jinx, died on August 14, 2015 in Portland, Oregon, 4 months after a diagnosis of DIPG (brain stem cancer). She was 22. She was particularly interested in nature, baking, art, music, and service to others. She was a Girl Scout, and enjoyed camping events and cookie sales. She earned most of the cost herself for her 8th-grade school trip to Catalina Island, and worked as a nanny through high school.

Jordan loved animals and grew up with many of them, including cats, gerbils, snakes, and her puppy Lucy. Her tabby cat Michiko was her devoted companion. She loved Hello Kitty, horror films, gaming with her boyfriend & dad, watching TV & crocheting with her mom, baking cookies for gifts every Christmas, trips to the Oregon coast, and most of all just being with the people she loved.

Jordan was characterized by loved ones as beautiful, generous, smart, loving, sentimental, courageous, and with a wickedly dark sense of humor. She is fiercely missed.
