Kelli and I met on the first day of high school in 1994 – We became besties quickly! In high school, she loved cheer… She even cheered in college! She was a spunky little redhead (she’d be so miffed at me for saying that; she preferred to be called strawberry blonde). As you can tell, Kelli was breathtaking. Her favorite movie was Steel Magnolias, and she was told over and over that she reminded people of “Shelby.” As long as Ive known her, she has signed her name, “Love & Sunshine, Kelli.” In 2007, she married my brother!!!! My friend of 13 years became my SISTER! They went on to have two daughters. Those girls were the light of her life. Her whole heart. Then on 7/17/14, Kelli went to the ER because she couldn’t shake theses “episodes” she was having where she’d become all dizzy with a piercing sudden headache. She was diagnosed with GBM stage 4. She gave that fight her ALL. Survived for almost 5 years with that awful disease. She passed away on May 7, 2019 at just 39. Kelli was absolutely hilarious, a trivia buff, silly, & loved Ohio through & through. Kelli was fierce. She loved AND fought hard. She is missed beyond belief.
