Kellie grew up in Clear Lake, Texas and moved to Austin to become a Medical Assistant. She married and had two sons. A few weeks following the birth of her first son, she began having severe headaches. An MRI showed a large mass in her head. She was life flighted to Barrows Hospital in Arizona. She survived a five hour surgery to remove the tumor, a Hemangiopericytoma. After a long recovery, she was able to get back to normal. Tumors kept coming back, and she was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma. Kellie was much more than cancer. She was a loving mother, daughter, and sister. She loved being with her  family. She had such a kind heart and was an incredible warrior.
