Kim Litton

Kim passed January 21, 2020 after a 28 month battle with glioblastoma. Kim is survived by her husband Ladd, two daughters Ashley and Elizabeth, sister Alison, and brother Steve. Kim is preceded in death by her parents Philip Aldrich and Sylvia Aldrich, nee Morgan.
Kim was born October 21, 1966 in Independence, MO to Phil and Sylvia. She graduated Raytown South High School in 1985 where in her senior year she was team MVP of both the softball and basketball teams and was the KC Star female scholar-athlete for Raytown South. Kim attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She worked at IFTC in mutual fund accounting for four years before moving on to American Century where she worked a total of fifteen years, with the majority of those in the financial reporting department.
Kim was an active member of Lee’s Summit Christian Church for 25 years where she was treasurer for Women’s Ministries, served as president of one of the women’s groups, served as interim director of the children’s program, and led seven church-wide garage sales to raise money for local charities. Kim helped tutor reading and math at Underwood Elementary School and served as a tutor for at-risk teens at ProDeo Youth Center.
