Kyla was an amazing daughter, sister, and friend. She loved unconditionally and without discrimination. She was funny, smart, and beautiful inside and out. She loved her dog, Buffy, Alabama football, pickles, doing her nails and makeup, and watching reality TV. She was a lover of all music genres but her favorite band was Queen. She loved spaghetti with meatballs and Starbucks coffee. She received a Political Science degree from the College of Charleston and wanted to be a civil rights attorney. Her passion to help others was admirable.
She is forever loved and missed by her friends and family. Her spirit lives within us all and we can only hope to live up to the phrase Be Like Kyla!
