Laura Yoho

Laura Yoho died at age 30 of a glioblastoma. Laura battled her disease for 27 months including three major brain surgeries, two rounds of radiation therapy and multiple courses of chemotherapy. As a personal trainer she was the poster person for health and fitness. Her courage and strength are unmatched. Laura is survived by her husband Nathan and daughter Caralyn born through surrogacy four months after Laura’s death. Their life story is well chronicled and we continue to honor her life in all that we do. Laura’s oncologist on learning of her death sent a letter to Nathan stating, “It has simply been my privilege to get to know Laura and you as well as her family. You and Laura embody the definition of courage and inspire me and my colleagues to do our utmost to find better treatments for patients afflicted by this horrible disease.” This is what this is all about.
