Michael had a brilliant mind. He was curious, eager to learn, and even more excited to share patiently what he’d discovered with those around him. Solving problems was his forte, and it was no surprise that he chose engineering as his vocation.
He was very proud to be a part of NASA as a rocket scientist. He loved his work, running experiments for the International Space Station. He was so enamored with space that he named his cat Celeste and dog Luna.!
His sense of humor was special and cherished. He could light up a room with his quick wit, jokes, puns, and infectious laugh that made everyone around him want to join in the fun!
Michael war his Saint Ignatius Kairos cross every day for 17 years since his junior year in high school. His thoughtfulness, his willingness to help, and countless random acts of kindness were examples of his beautiful soul.
Michael handled the trials of glioblastoma with grace, courage, and incredible strength. He will be forever missed.
