Mike spent his career as a dedicated IT professional and software engineer, where he was a talented manager and deeply respected by his team. Following his career in technology, he applied his brilliant mind to new pursuits; he was incredibly capable, mastering everything from complete home remodels to perfecting smoked brisket and chicken. He was also a gifted sketch artist with a wonderful sense of humor.

His love for animals was matched only by his devotion to his family. Mike and his wife, Jennifer, shared a dream of retiring in the mountains, where he spent his free time skiing, hiking, fishing, and riding ATVs. He fought a courageous 28-month battle against an incredibly cruel cancer.
