My little brother, Mike, courageously fought glioblastoma (GBM) for almost a decade, a remarkable testament to his strength while battling one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer. He endured multiple surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, and clinical trials, yet never let cancer define his life. Through it all, he continued making memories with family and friends, finding joy wherever he could.
Before cancer, Mike was quiet and reserved. After his treatments, something changed. He seemed to find his voice. He suddenly had an opinion about everything and was never afraid to share it. At times it was almost annoying, but today I would give anything to hear one more of his unfiltered thoughts. The room, and the world, feel much quieter without him.
Please honor Mike’s incredible fight by supporting Head for the Cure. Together, we can help fund research, give hope to families, and move closer to a future without GBM.
