Michele Della Valle fought a brave battle with brain cancer. She will always be remembered for her compassionate heart, her willingness to lend a hand, and the way she brightened every room she entered. Michele devoted her time to many organizations, and especially loved teaching computer skills and library classes to the kids at St. Bonaventure School. She also loved cheering on the Pittsburgh Pirates and watching Pitt and Penn State football.

Above all, her true passion was her family: her husband of 36 years, John; her daughter, Tori (husband Kevin); and her son, Anthony (fiancé Ally). Everything she did was for us, and we are eternally grateful. Our favorite memories will always be our family vacations and family dinners at home – where walking through the front door brought an instant sense of calm and made every worry melt away.
