Mitch was passionate about battling fish. However, it became more evident as his life journey was closing in on him that he was a Fisher of Men. He prayed for his friends from younger days, college days, and work to find joy and peace in their lives. His goal of helping his friends have a close relationship with Jesus was very important to him. Mitch’s passion for surfing, hunting, running, hiking, working out, and being outdoors is a reminder for us all to live life to it’s fullest. He loved being with his sister, Rebecca’s, family on vacations in Alaska, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and the Keys. Uncle Mitch adored hanging out, playing soccer, Fortnight, pool, basketball, and chess with his niece, Sophia, nephews, Connor and Logan anytime he could. Fishing off their dock or in the rivers of Charleston were some of the happiest moments he had during his cancer journey. His smile, wit, and love for God, family and friends are missed. He battled Glioblastoma with quiet determination.
