Rahn E. Tieman, 64, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away March 14, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family after a 2 year battle with glioblastoma. Rahn was raised on a farm in the Corder, Missouri area. He was a graduate of Lafayette County C-1 High School, and attended the University of Missouri. Shortly afterwards Rahn began his career in banking, working over 40 years in the banking industry, and finishing his career as a financial advisor. Rahn loved music, especially the Beatles. His family gave him a guitar which he truly loved to play by himself or with friends. He enjoyed traveling with his family and friends, woodworking – making anything from furniture to dolls toys for his great-nieces, to giant Jenga for tailgating at Royals and Chiefs games. Rahn also took great pride in keeping a manicured lawn. He spent many hours on the golf course, watching golf on TV enjoying his favorite game along with many other sports. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Gail, daughter, Rebecca, and many close friends and family members. As the Beatles say, “Though I know I’ll never lose affection / For people and things that went before / I know I’ll often stop and think about them / In my life, I love you more” We’ll think about you often, and we’ll love you always.
